The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster gets a trailer and a release date

In yet another collaboration with our friends at Moontower VFX, Foxtrot X-Ray contributed 25+ VFX shots to Bomani J. Story’s film The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster, a riff on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein that “tells the story of teenage anti-hero Vicaria, who is on a desperate quest to cure death.” (IMDb)

Among the VFX executed by Foxtrot X-Ray were the replacement of a rubber machete (used for actor safety in a particularly gruesome scene) with a realistic CGI render, as seen on our dedicated VFX page for the film. And more of our VFX work can be seen in the film’s excellent trailer, below. The film hits theatres on June 9, 2023.
