In yet another collaboration with our friends at Moontower VFX, Foxtrot X-Ray contributed 25+ VFX shots to Bomani J. Story’s film The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster, a riff on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein that “tells the story of teenage anti-hero Vicaria, who is on a desperate quest to cure death.” (IMDb)
Among the VFX executed by Foxtrot X-Ray were the replacement of a rubber machete (used for actor safety in a particularly gruesome scene) with a realistic CGI render, as seen above. And more of our VFX work can be seen in the film’s excellent trailer, below.
