Carlson Young’s 2021 Sundance feature The Blazing World, a surreal psychological horror film, features about 50 VFX shots composited by Foxtrot X-Ray in collaboration with our friends at Moontower VFX. Moontower was responsible for all smoke simulation elements, providing Deep passes to Foxtrot X-Ray for integration into the shots using Nuke’s Deep compositing toolset.
