Foxtrot X-Ray Ferrari Promo - Top Gear Style
Here's our version of one of Top Gear's great car segments, using a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and created entirely in Unreal Engine and Cinema 4D. Additional tools used were MadGoat Studios' Cinematic Car Rig in Unreal, Redshift for the C4D renders, a very light Nuke pass for some optical effects, and DaVinci Resolve for the edit and final color.

Between projects, the Foxtrot X-Ray team put together this full CG whiskey commercial using C4D, XParticles, JangaFX LiquiGen, Unreal Engine, and splash elements from The Pixel Lab, with compositing in Nuke and color/edit in DaVinci Resolve.
‘Barbenheimer’ - Making the 2024 Phoenix Film Festival Opener
As we’ve done for the last several years, this year Foxtrot X-Ray continued its support of the Phoenix Film Festival by again creating an animated opening bumper to kick off every screening at the festival. This year’s theme was a play on the “Barbenheimer” phenomenon, putting the festival’s “Camerahead” mascot into a world inspired by the 2023 hit movies Barbie and Oppenheimer.
Bringing our mascot ‘Victor’ to life
As a fun little exercise in between projects, the Foxtrot X-Ray team decided to challenge ourselves with bringing a photoreal 3D-animated version of our mascot “Victor” to life, taking a stroll through Downtown Phoenix.
Foxtrot X-Ray wrangles digital bees for Edmunds and Lemonlight
Award-winning video production agency Lemonlight tapped Foxtrot X-Ray’s team of visual effects specialists to bring to life a swarm of digital bees for “You Bee Lying,” a commercial spot for automotive website Edmunds.
Foxtrot X-Ray Supports BattleBots Team MAGNITUDE
Foxtrot X-Ray created an all-CG promo for Magnitude and their state of the art BattleBot, seeing an opportunity to incorporate our Cinema 4D to Unreal Engine pipeline to quickly iterate the spot.
Foxtrot X-Ray adds Unreal Engine to VFX pipeline on Dead Man’s Hand
Foxtrot X-Ray created 30 VFX shots for director Brian Skiba’s film adaptation of the Western graphic novel Dead Man’s Hand, including creating a mystical cave environment containing a massive golden stalactite. In the early stages of the project, VFX Supervisor Paul DeNigris and VFX Producer Jai Sathyan decided that this would be a great beta test for incorporating Unreal Engine into Foxtrot X-Ray’s pipeline.
