‘Fluorescent Beast’ to Premiere at Glendale International Film Festival
Foxtrot X-Ray provided over 110 VFX shots for Paul Osborne’s dark comedy Fluorescent Beast, which makes its world premiere at Glendale International Film Festival on September 30th.
Foxtrot X-Ray adds Unreal Engine to VFX pipeline on Dead Man’s Hand
Foxtrot X-Ray created 30 VFX shots for director Brian Skiba’s film adaptation of the Western graphic novel Dead Man’s Hand, including creating a mystical cave environment containing a massive golden stalactite. In the early stages of the project, VFX Supervisor Paul DeNigris and VFX Producer Jai Sathyan decided that this would be a great beta test for incorporating Unreal Engine into Foxtrot X-Ray’s pipeline.
Proof Sheet to premiere at Dances With Films LA
Foxtrot X-Ray provided over 50 VFX shots for director Richard Kilroy’s turn-of-the-millennium Los Angeles neo-noir Proof Sheet, including cleanup, gunfire, rain, bluescreen/greenscreen, as well as some inventive sequences involving reflections, photography, and optical manipulation. The film will have its World Premiere at our favorite Los Angeles film festival, Dances With Films, on Monday June 26th at 9:30 pm in Hollywood.

Foxtrot X-Ray contributed a key creature shot to "Bruja," a segment of the upcoming witch-themed horror anthology Pendulum from the creators of Knucklebones and Found Footage 3D.

In yet another collaboration with our friends at Moontower VFX, Foxtrot X-Ray contributed 25+ VFX shots to Bomani J. Story’s film The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster, a riff on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein that “tells the story of teenage anti-hero Vicaria, who is on a desperate quest to cure death.”

When Phoenix filmmaker Shanna Fujii set out to make a short film inspired by the Japanese folklore of the futakuchi-onna she enlisted Foxtrot X-Ray to help her execute the visual effects for the film. This entailed a close collaboration between VFX Supervisor Paul DeNigris and Make-Up Artist Amber Revae to bring the futakuchi-onna to life.
