Foxtrot X-Ray provided roughly 70 VFX shots for KIllHer, director Robyn August's satirical sendup of slasher movie tropes, including lots and lots of digital blood. From the beginning Robyn made it clear to us that this film needed to take the slasher genre and dial it up to 11. We threw every blood effect trick we had up our sleeve for this film to help give every unique blood splatter, spray, pool, a unique feel from the rest. Alongside the plethora of blood effects, Foxtrot X-Ray added muzzle flashes, combined practical effects with digital for a gruesome head crushing sequence, and bullet hits whizzing past characters heads.
